The Return To Normality
March 27, 2022Around the world, especially in Europe, we are starting to see countries lift their COVID-19 mandates. For many, this is promising, but other people are most likely feeling like this is the wrong decision and we need to prolong precautionary measures until we are sure it's passed. The argument against that is we may never see a return to the old normal. This may be the new normal for everybody and we have to learn to live with the fact that COVID will always be around. That's been found pretty consistent in many outbreaks that have happened historically. A lot for people are going to be relieved to never have to wear a mask again, and some may be relieved that the pressure of getting the vaccine is gone.
This does not mean that all of the stores and organizations will drop their own personal decisions, but we are trending towards it being in the hands of the store and not the government. I have a general feeling that it will depend on the area that you live in, more or less. We are already seeing southern states not enforcing mandates, but locations such as the Pacific Northwest are still seeing these mandates be imposed.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming time, and many decisions are constantly being made regarding COVID-19, and decisions seem to be less and less restrictive. There is no saying for sure what will be happening, but it will be a major topic in the coming weeks.
