COVID-19 has made its presence more than known in these last 18 months or so, and right now, some states are seeing the highest hospitalization rates since the beginning of the pandemic.
With COVID cases going up, there has been a scramble in the last year and a half to provide some sort of defense from COVID. Vaccines were released in America and around the world to help combat the virus.
The Delta variant is running out of control, and right now the only thing we can really do to protect ourselves is get the vaccine, but this will only decrease the severity of the case and lower the chance of hospitalization or death.
COVID is still on a surge through America right now, and it’s continuing to make its presence known. It has been nothing short of devastating not only here in America, but also around the world.
COVID-19 was administered in America from three manufacturers: Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. These vaccines were widely administered as America is now looking at over a 70% vaccination rate, shortly after Biden’s original goal of obtaining that by the 4th of July.
COVID-19 seemed to be a serious uphill battle, that was until there was news that a vaccine was going to be released. We were over 60% vaccinated as a country and feeling really good around the start of July.
